Almiras is a family-owned business, held by members of the Alzamil family. The group consists primarily of design, hospitality, industrial, commercial, and contracting companies. Our companies operate in the GCC countries, Africa, Italy, and the United Kingdom with over 1,500 employees combined.
Investment Philosophy
Our family invests for the long-term with deep commitment. We acquire, invest-in, and incubate businesses in select sectors that we have the ability to add value to. We put a lot of faith in entrepreneurship, growth, and the importance of employee involvement, and therefore believe in the advantages of decentralised specialisation.

We have had the privilege of building and operating architectural services since 1996. During these years, we have discovered some elements of operations that we believe are important for success; building a family with aligned motivations, loyalty, and passion; people who are given the reigns to perform on their passion.
In our role as owners, we believe that it is important to identify passion and create an environment where these people thrive and execute on their passion in a decentralised ecosystem. With our approach we have had the privilege to grow and branch out into several industries and segments.
